Perry's 'Madea' nabs US BO top spot
Madea Goes To Jail has opened at number one at the US box office in its first weekend on release.

Tyler Perry's cross-dressing comedy's $41 million take is enough to secure it the top spot over Oscar weekend. Taken, Coraline and Slumdog Millionaire all improve on their positions from last week, completing the top five along with He's Just Not That Into You.

Elsewhere, Friday The 13th plummets to number six with an 80% fall in ticket sales and comedy Fired Up debuts at number nine.
