Dunst casts doubts on fourth 'Spiderman'

Spiderman star Kirsten Dunst has said she would only return for a fourth instalment of the superhero franchise if the script were "awesome."

Dunst - who plays Peter Parker's love interest Mary-Jane - has already signed up for a third flick in 2007 but doubts director Sam Raimi and main star Tobey Maguire will carry on after that.

"The first one was great, the second movie is great, we can make a great third movie. Sam Raimi would have a heart attack if he had to do one more and I wouldn't want to make the movie without Sam," she told the Coming Soon website. "I don't think I'd do a fourth one, the only way I'd do a fourth one is if Sam was doing it and Tobey was doing it and there was an awesome script, then I would but not if those elements weren't there."

The second movie opens in the UK on July 15.
