Eleven soundtracks for 'Spider-Man 2'

Eleven different soundtracks will accompany Spider-Man 2 depending on which the country the film is released in, film makers Sony Entertainment confirmed today.
The move - being billed as the "most ambitious global marketing plan ever" for a soundtrack - is designed to break Sony artists around the world via the film's accompanying album.
In the US and Canada, Dashboard Confessional's 'Vindicated' and Train's 'Ordinary' are the two co-lead singles, while in most European countries, tracks by US act Switchfoot and Sweden's Ana Johnnson will be released.
"From day one, we had worldwide ambitions for this project," said Sony Music Soundtrax president Glen Brunman. "We decided that the soundtrack is not about having the biggest-selling artists but to have music that's right for the soundtrack. These songs were specifically written for the spirit of the movie and the Spider-Man character."
Spider-Man 2 is released July 16 in the UK.
