Showtime, the US premium cable channel, has announced plans to release its own 9/11-themed documentary as the public debate sparked by Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 continues to grow.
DC 9/11 - A Time Of Crisis will be released on DVD on September 7, close to the third anniversary of the horrific terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
Tom Sykes, VP of Showtime Home Entertainment, said: "We are releasing DC 9/11 to DVD as quickly as possible due to the immense interest in this film, and in an attempt to provide a fair and balanced view of this national crisis to the public, at a time when there is so much interest in what factually happened. The tremendous success of Fahrenheit 911 has launched a national debate and DC 9/11 should be part of that conversation as to what really happened."
