The former WWE wrestler, real name Dwayne Johnson, will provide the voice of a "macho" Texas steer, according to Variety.
Holy Cow! is based on a Peter Kalmback and Teddy Grennan story, which follows a Texan bull who decides to move to India to avoid being killed for meat.
No writers or directors are currently attached to the project.
Johnson's other upcoming project include The Tooth Fairy and Disney's Race To Witch Mountain.
