Goldblum signs up for rom-com 'Baster'

Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman signed up for the project last month.
The movie will follow the story of a man (Bateman), who secretly interferes with his female best friend's (Aniston) attempts to get pregnant through artificial insemination. However, when she returns from New York seven years later with a son, he is forced to live with secret that he is the real father.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Goldblum will play Bateman's business partner and confidant. He is described as a man "whose idea of working out is walking slowly on the treadmill while eating a candy bar".
The film is scheduled to begin shooting in New York this spring.
