Director Iliadis has the 'Cure'

Director Dennis Iliadis has signed up to helm new thriller Cure.

Iliadis, who recently helmed the remake of Last House On The Left, will work on the new vehicle with Michael London's Groundswell Productions, according to Variety.

Cure tells the story of a woman that seeks experimental treatment to save her from a terminal illness. She is eventually cured, but as a result finds herself "suddenly infected with something more terrifying".

Max Payne's Beau Michael Thorne penned the script, and shooting is scheduled to kick off in the summer.
