Disney has picked up Barry Blaustein and Jason Hefter's comedy pitch Wouldn't It Be Nice for the duo to write and direct.
The family movie centres on a high school couple who find themselves transported 20 years into the future to deal with the trials and tribulations of middle age. Still with teenage minds, they struggle to raise three young children.
Andrew Gunn will serve as producer on Wouldn't It Be Nice, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Blaustein has previously directed Johnny Knoxville's The Ringer, while Hefter is working on Magic 8 Ball for Universal.
