Eisenberg to play poet Allen Ginsberg

The ensemble drama will centre on the murder that helped kick start the New York Beat Generation, headed by writers Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William S. Burroughs.
Ben Whishaw will play Lucien Carr, a Columbia University student who brings together the young writers, while Evans will star as Kerouac.
John Krokidas is making his directorial debut on the drama, working from a script he co-wrote with Austin Bunn.
Eisenberg can next be seen in coming-of-age comedy Adventureland, released in UK cinemas on July 17.
