Mitch Hurwitz, creator of the short-lived Fox sitcom, will direct the movie version, bringing back Arnett, Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Jeffrey Tambor and Jessica Walter to star as the dysfunctional Bluth family.
"All signs are pointing towards the movie happening - within the next ten years," Arnett told Empire. "Where would Gob go? President of America. You're the fourth smartest person in a family of four. It only makes sense that you become the President, right?"
Arnett's next big screen role is voicing fish-ape hybrid The Missing Link in Monsters Vs. Aliens.
