Jonze awaits first pay-day in four years

The filmmaker said he has high hopes that Where The Wild Things Are is a box office smash because it would be nice to have some money.
"When you break down how much you're making [over that time], yeah, it's kind of crazy," he told WENN. "But yeah, this year I should probably get back to work on other stuff, and start making money again. I haven't made money in a long time."
The film is an adaptation of the children's book by Maurice Sendak and is scheduled for release in the US this October. Jonze reportedly met his current partner Michelle Williams when she auditioned for a role in the Warner Bros film.
