The actor, who plays Lucius Malfoy in the wizard franchise, told DS at the 2009 Empire Awards: "I'm absolutely heartbroken, are you kidding? At some point it was going to come to an end. I'm glad it's spread itself out by making two films out of the last [book]."
Speaking about his upcoming movie, Isaacs said that he had high hopes for Bourne Ultimatum director Paul Greengrass's Green Zone.
"It's an edge-of-your-seat thriller, and it's Paul Greengrass doing what he does best," Isaacs explained. "Both elements of what he does best, the reality and the excitement."
