The former American Idol winner starred as Louise from St. Louis in the big screen adaptation of the HBO series, which saw her character eventually leave New York for Missouri.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, she said: "I would love [to play her again]. I told [director] Michael Patrick King that Louise has moved back to New York from St. Louis, so… I’ll be ready if that opportunity comes."
Star and producer Sarah Jessica Parker has remained tight-lipped over the possible storyline, admitting only that it would be a "massive romp" that was likely to take account of the current economic climate.
Filming on Sex And The City 2 is expected to begin this summer with a scheduled 2010 release date.
