FBI investigating 'Wolverine' online leak
Published Thursday, Apr 2 2009, 14:33 BST | By Lara Martin

According to BBC News, the superhero prequel was downloaded an estimated 100,000 times from file-sharing websites before it was detected and removed. It is not scheduled for cinematic release until May 1 in the US and April 29 in the UK.
In a statement, 20th Century Fox said: "The source of the initial leak and any subsequent postings will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The courts have handed down significant criminal sentences for such acts.
"Such theft undermines the enormous efforts of the filmmakers and actors and, above all, hurts fans of the film."
The studio added that both the FBI and the Motion Picture Association of America are "actively investigating" the incident.
The leaked bootleg was reported to have been a DVD quality workprint of the film, which had several special effects and musical scores missing.
