Hip Hop, which is penned by Journey To The Centre Of The Earth writer Michael Weiss and Greg Ostrin, will follow the story of an Easter Bunny who retires and becomes a family pet.
Picked up by Sony Animation, the movie will be a mix of CGI and live-action, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Meanwhile, Universal's Illumination Entertainment is producing I Hop, which is a totally live-action film. It will follow the story of an Easter Bunny who is unable to hop after being run over by a slacker. The slacker will then have to take over the Bunny's job to save Easter.
