Efron linked to 'Full Metal Panic'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Efron has met with producers at Mandalay Pictures to discuss taking on the role of a teen anti-terrorist commando who must protect a girl with supernatural powers.
Based on Shoji Gatoh's Japanese TV series, the movie is described as a blend of action, comedy and romance. Efron is also considering starring in action film Jonny Quest for Warner Bros.
Efron's latest movie 17 Again, focusing on a middle-aged man who relives his high school years, is released in cinemas this Friday.
