Justin Marks (the upcoming Suicide Squad) has been hired to write the script for the adaptation of the Sony Computer Entertainment game, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The title, which debuted on PS2 in 2005 to critical acclaim, puts gamers in control of Wander, a man who must journey across a deserted landscape, defeating 16 colossi to save the life of a girl called Mono.
Kevin Misher (The Scorpion King, Public Enemies) is in talks to produce the project.
