Jenkins joins Roberts in 'Eat, Pray, Love'

Richard Jenkins has signed to star opposite Julia Roberts in Eat, Pray, Love.
The actor, who was nominated for an Oscar for The Visitor, will portray a Texan whom Roberts's character befriends, Variety reports.
The screenplay, based on the best-selling novel by Elizabeth Gilbert, was adapted by the film's director Ryan Murphy.
The plot of the film centers on a married woman embarking on a journey of self-discovery after realising that she is not living the life that she had envisioned for herself.
Eat, Pray, Love, which is produced by Brad Pitt, will begin filming in New York, Bali, India and Rome in July.
