The biopic will reunite Ratner with screenwriter Jeff Nathanson, who penned Rush Hour 2 and Rush Hour 3 for the director. Kathleen Kennedy is producing the project, with surviving Milli Vanilli member Fab Morvan acting as executive producer.
Milli Vanilli were comprised of Morvan and Rob Pilatus. Their hits include 'Baby Don't Forget My Number' and 'Girl I'm Gonna Miss You'.
The duo won a a Grammy in 1990 but had the award withdrawn when it emerged that neither of them sang on their records and they used lip-syncing for live performances. Pilatus was found dead in 1998 from an apparent drug overdose.
