Reviving the Star Trek franchise by recasting roles made famous by William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy could be a recipe for disaster, but in the hands of Alias and Lost mastermind J.J. Abrams the beloved sci-fi series is expected to get a new lease of life. Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin and Eric Bana make up the cast of the blockbuster, arriving in cinemas on May 8.
