Munsters to hit big screen
Published Tuesday, Aug 24 2004, 14:38 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly
The Wayans brothers, the team behind Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2 are planning to resurrect The Munsters and put it on the big screen.
Keenen Ivory, Shawn and Marlon Wayans have made a deal with Universal Pictures to bring back the family of friendly monsters, who were a hit with TV viewers in the '60s.
Although the movie will be set in the present day, it will apparently stay true to the original characters.
The brothers don't intend to star in the film, but Keenen may take up the role of director.
