McAvoy, Banks sign up for 'Details'

James McAvoy, Elizabeth Banks, Laura Linney and Anna Friel have signed up to star in black comedy The Details.

According to Variety, the film centres on a couple (McAvoy and Banks) who find raccoons living in their back garden. Their disagreements about how to deal with the infestation sets in motion an escalating chain of events.

Jacob Estes (Mean Creek) has written and will direct The Details, which is slated to go into production this summer in Seattle.

McAvoy can next be seen in The Last Station, a biopic of Russian author Leo Tolstoy.
