The former WWE star, real name Dwayne Johnson, will play an ex-con who is determined to avenge the death of his brother, who was killed in a heist ten years earlier.
Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray, who worked with Johnson on The Game Plan and upcoming movie Tooth Fairy, will co-produce.
The project begins shooting in August.
