Channing Tatum has said that his upcoming action film G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra is a "ridiculously big, huge movie".

The Fighting star told DS: "It's one of those movies where I didn't realise how big it was. I've seen parts from it that are in the trailer now and I'm like, 'this movie is nuts'.

"On the second day of filming, I turned around and Snake Eyes is standing next to me and I'm like, 'Woah, now I'm in this.' It's a huge ride."

Discussing his part in Public Enemies opposite Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, Tatum said: "I play a big role in American history, Pretty Boy Floyd, but it's a small role in the movie. I introduce Purvis, Christian Bale's character, the head honcho of what will eventually be the FBI."

G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra and Public Enemies open in cinemas this summer. Fighting is on general release from tomorrow.
