Lindsay Lohan heads to 'The Other Side'

The project, Lohan's first big screen role since 2007's I Know Who Killed Me, focuses on a student who spends her summer working on a remote island populated by an eccentric community with a tragic secret.
Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews and Alanis Morissette have also joined the movie, which begins production this October off the coast of Massachusetts.
Commenting on Lohan's casting, director David Michaels told Variety: "Lindsay's very aware of people's perceptions of her. She's really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that."
