Director Terry Gilliam is to bring Mitch Cullin's dark novel Tideland to the big screen.
The book is about a young girl who is forced to fend for herself and seems to live in her own little world, spending time talking to her Barbie heads, and pretending to be Alice from Alice In Wonderland.
Jodelle Ferland will play the little girl, while Jennifer Tilly, Janet McTeer and Brendan Fletcher will also appear.
