'Jackass' Pontius for Coppola's 'Somewhere'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pontius will play Sammy, the best friend of Stephen Dorff's misbehaving actor character who rethinks his life after a visit from his 11-year-old daughter (Elle Fanning).
Coppola will film Somewhere at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles. She is also writing and producing the movie, her first since 2006's Marie Antoinette.
Francis Ford Coppola, Fred Roos and Paul Rassam are serving as executive producers on the project.
