Bradley Cooper has dismissed rumours that he's been cast in the upcoming A-Team movie.

The actor insisted that he has not signed on to portray Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck in the big screen version of the US TV show, Contact Music reports.

The Yes Man star said that comments he recently made about the project were taken out of context.

"I haven't read a script or met (director) Joe Carnahan," he told Chud.com.

Bruce Willis, Woody Harrelson, and rapper Common have all been rumoured to star in the 2010 flick, while Star Trek’s new Captain Kirk, Chris Pine, has previously admitted that he would like to play "Howling Mad" Murdock.

Cooper was also touted for the title role of the Green Lantern earlier this month.
