Lyndsy Fonseca jumps into 'Hot Tub'

Lyndsy Fonseca has been cast in sci-fi comedy Hot Tub Time Machine, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The How I Met Your Mother actress will appear as Jenny, an ex-girlfriend of John Cusack's character from 1987. He and his two friends, played by Rob Corddry and Craig Robinson, revisit her in the past when they are transported back in time via a jacuzzi.

Lizzy Caplan, Clark Duke and Crispin Glover are also on board for the United Artists comedy, which is currently filming in Vancouver.

Steve Pink, who worked with Cusack on High Fidelity, is directing the movie from a script by Josh Heald.
