Rogen, Bateman join Pegg's 'Paul'

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's alien comedy Paul has added five new actors to its cast.

Seth Rogen, Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader and Jane Lynch have all boarded the Universal/Working Title project, reports Variety.

Hot Fuzz duo Pegg and Frost, who wrote the script for Paul, will star as two sci-fi geeks who encounter an alien near Area 51 while on a road trip across the US. Rogen will voice the eponymous extraterrestrial.

Greg Mottola (Superbad) will direct the movie, which is scheduled to go into production next month.
