Stockwell to helm comedy 'Roadkill'

Into The Blue's John Stockwell has signed up to direct action comedy Roadkill, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Scripted by Nick Ball and John Niven, the film centres on two private detectives who agree to protect a high-end escort being pursued by a female assassin. Meanwhile, the pair's activities also lead them to stumble upon a huge government conspiracy.

Stockwell's credits include Blue Crush, Middle Of Nowhere and Turistas.
