'Twilight' wins big at MTV Movie Awards
Fantasy film Twilight was the big winner at last night's MTV Movie Awards.

The vampire romance scooped five prizes, with its star Robert Pattinson nabbing three of the gongs. The British actor won for breakthrough male performance, best fight with Cam Gigandet and best kiss with Kristen Stewart, who also won for best female performance.

In addition, the adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's novel took home the night's big prize for best movie, winning the public vote by a landslide.

Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker in last summer's The Dark Knight earned him the top villain award, while High School Musical 3's Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale picked up prizes for best male performance and breakthrough female respectively.

The event was hosted by Saturday Night Live comic Andy Samberg, with stars such as Denzel Washington, Cameron Diaz, Will Ferrell and Kiefer Sutherland handing out awards.
