Comics sign for 'Wallace and Gromit' film

Cold Feet star John Thompson, and comic Peter Kay have signed up to provide voices for a new Wallace and Gromit film.
The film, due for release in October 2005, is to be called The Curse of the Wererabbit, and is now in production. It's plot is being kept secret at this time.
Peter Kay, currently showing in adverts for John Smith bitter, will provide the voice of new character Pc McIntosh, the bungling Police Officer. John Thompson has signed to provide the voice of several characters in the film.
Insiders on the film said:
"John and Peter are both delighted that they have been invited by Nick Park to be in the movie. They are both massive fans of Wallace and Gromit and were eager to be the voices of the new characters."
