Haggis previously collaborated with Lionsgate on Crash, winning Oscars in 2005 for best film, original screenplay and director.
"I'm thrilled to be working with Lionsgate again; they did such a great job distributing Crash. I'm looking forward to exploring the depths of faith and the limits of love," the filmmaker said.
Anything For Her, directed by Fred Cavayé, stars Vincent Lindon as a teacher trying to free his wrongly imprisoned wife (Diane Kruger) from jail. It opens in the UK this Friday.
