An adaptation of Lise and Ceil Friedman's book, the story will centre on a couple (Seyfried and García) who discover a letter written to Juliet Capulet.
The note's author (Redgrave) writes of a man (Nero) she romanced in Italy while on holiday years ago. Seyfried's character will help the older woman find the man in Tuscany.
Gary Winick is on board to direct Letters based on José Rivera and Tim Sullivan's script.
Mamma Mia! star Seyfried can next be seen opposite Megan Fox in horror film Jennifer's Body.
