Based on Jarrett Krosoczka's forthcoming graphic novel series, the movie will cast the Baby Mama actress as a school cafeteria worker who leads a double life investigating wrongdoings.
Sarah Haskins and Emily Halpern have been hired to pen the script for the movie.
The first book in the series, Lunch Lady And The League Of Librarians, is arriving in July from Knopf Books. The Cyborg Substitute, The Author Visit Vendetta and The Summer Camp Shakedown will follow soon after.
