According to horror website Bloody Disgusting, 20th Century Fox is in talks with Marshall (The Descent, Doomsday) to helm the franchise revival Predators.
Sin City's Robert Rodriguez has written the script for the new film and will produce through his Texas-based Troublemaker Studios.
The original Predator was released in 1987 and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as the leader of a team of commandos who find themselves targets for alien hunters in the jungle. The Predators also appeared in a 1990 sequel and two spinoff Alien Vs. Predator movies.
