Johnny Depp: 'My job makes me sick'

Johnny Depp has admitted that he gets sick after every film he makes, it has emerged.

The 46-year-old actor has revealed that after the completion of every movie he works on, he always falls ill due to the enormous effort he puts into all of his characters.

According to Contactmusic, Depp has also said that he never feels sick when filming, only after production has wrapped.

He said: "There is a period once you finish a guy - a character - when you're looking to go back to yourself and sometimes it can manifest itself in illness.

"After I made The Libertine, I was in bed for two weeks. When you're working, you don't get sick, then suddenly it hits you like a two-by-four."
