Marshall discusses 'Neverending' plans

Reports first surfaced that Warner Bros was working on a reimagining of the 1984 fantasy film earlier this year. The original Wolfgang Petersen-helmed movie spawned a 1990 sequel and a direct-to-video third instalment in 1996.
The films, based on a German-language novel by Michael Endes, told the story of a young boy called Bastian who escapes into the parallel world of Fantasia.
Speaking about progress on the project, Marshall told io9: "We love the book. We've always thought there was an opportunity there because there are a lot of elements in the book that aren't in the movie.
"It's another one where we're still working on the rights. It's a huge thing to get it. And once we get that, we'll bring on a writer. But that's kind of off in the distance, but it's a great story."
Yesterday, Marshall said that the prospect of a fourth Jurassic Park movie was a "long shot".
