Fincher to direct Sorkin's Facebook film

The Fight Club helmer is in talks with Columbia Pictures to steer the movie, which will focus on the creation of the social networking site. Facebook was founded by Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg in 2004 and is now valued at around $16 billion.
Producers Scott Rudin and Michael De Luca will oversee the movie alongside Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti.
Fincher's last movie The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button scooped 13 Oscar nominations and took home three technical awards earlier this year. He is also attached to direct cooking comedy Chef with Keanu Reeves.
