Cameron Diaz has admitted that she cannot wait to start working with Tom Cruise on their upcoming movie Wichita.

The Vanilla Sky co-stars will reunite for the action comedy which revolves around a spy attempting to romance an unlucky-in-love woman.

Speaking to Us Weekly, she said: "I'm very, very excited about doing it. It's an action film, so I'm really excited to work with him."

Diaz, who received the 2,368th Hollywood star earlier this week, added that it "was wonderful" to see Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes at her unveiling ceremony.

"It was fantastic. It was so lovely of them to come out and show support. My whole family was there and my friends were there. And I consider them that as well. So it was really wonderful to have them there."

Wichita is scheduled for release next summer.
