La Toya scene 'cut from Bruno'

A scene featuring La Toya Jackson in upcoming comedy Bruno has reportedly been removed from the final cut following the death of her brother Michael.

Sources close to Universal Studios confirmed the last-minute edit and said that they did not expect the scene to be restored for the commercial release of the film on July 10, The Wall Street Journal reports.

The cut was said to be made between a Wednesday screening and the movie's Hollywood premiere last night after news of Michael's death broke.

The scene in question reportedly features Sacha Baron Cohen copying Michael's phone number from La Toya's BlackBerry.
