Columbia signs up for 'Uncharted' movie
The movie rights to Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune have been purchased by Columbia Pictures.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie will be produced by Avi Arad, Charles Roven and Alex Gartner. It will be penned by Kyle Ward, who has writing credits on the upcoming Kane And Lynch movie, as well as the sequel to the 2007 movie adaptation of Hitman.

PS3 exclusive Uncharted sees the descendant of Sir Francis Drake searching for the golden city of El Dorado while battling mutants, mercenaries and a rival hunter.

A sequel is expected to launch on the PS3 later this year.
