The co-star of the later series of The X-Files, Robert Patrick, would be keen to reprise his role as Agent John Doggett in any forthcoming movies of the franchise.
Patrick took over the limelight from David Duchovny's Mulder in 2000 when Duchovny quit.
In an interview with the Houston Chronicle he explained, "I love that character. For the record, I loved doing The X-Files. It wasn't my idea to let the show go...I thought that we were still doing well enough to keep it on the air." If there were to be a movie proposed "and they ask me to come back, I'm there."
