The Borat star arrived late on Monday to the Sydney premiere of his latest comedy, in which he portrays a gay Austrian fashion reporter. He told reporters that he had met Prime Minister Kevin Rudd on a talkshow the previous evening, according to The Huffington Post.
The actor turned up in the guise of his alter ego, dressed in a tight-fitted school boys uniform.
He said: "The reason I'm late is I just had breakfast in bed with Kevin Rudd. That guy is like, uber cute. I thought Obama was, like, the hottest guy in the world until I met Kevin."
Rudd admitted that he had reservations about appearing with the comedian on the popular Rove Live programme. He added: "Basically I was in a state of induced panic."
Cohen recently posed nude on the cover of GQ as Brüno, which will be released to cinemas on July 10.
