'American Werewolf' to be remade?
A remake of horror film An American Werewolf In London will be made, it has been reported.

According to BloodyDisgusting.com, an update of the 1981 movie is currently in development after the original's writer and director John Landis sold the rights to Dimension Films.

The studio has already produced new instalments of The Amityville Horror, Black Christmas and Halloween.

The first picture centred on two American students, David Naughton and Griffin Dunne, as they were attacked by a lycanthrope on the English moors. It was placed at number seven in a poll of the scariest movie monsters conducted by Sky Movies' Sci-Fi & Horror channel last year.
