'The Hangover' wins Just For Laughs award

Hangover producer Todd Phillips will be honoured at the Just For Laughs awards, according to Variety.

The director will receive the comedy director of the year award at Montreal's 27th Just for Laughs Festival conference.

Additionally, Ethan Cohen (Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Tropic Thunder) will pick up the comedy writer of the year award.

Phillips has previously attached his name to Frat House and Old School.
