Annette Bening, Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo have signed up for indie movie The Kids Are All Right, says Variety.

Josh Hutcherson and Mia Wasikowska will star as a brother and sister who are trying to find a sperm donor for their same-sex parents. Bening and Moore will play the parents, while Ruffalo has been cast as a prospective donor.

Lisa Cholodenko will direct The Kids Are All Right. The High Art helmer co-wrote the script with Stuart Blumberg.

Bening's most recent big screen appearance was in last year's The Women. Moore can next be seen in The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee, opening in UK cinemas on July 10.
