Johnny Depp hails Stephen Graham

Johnny Depp has described his recent British co-star Stephen Graham as one of his favourite actors of all time.

The pair appear together in Michael Mann's Public Enemies, with Graham playing gangster Baby Face Nelson alongside Depp's John Dillinger.

Depp told reporters at the movie's press conference: "I think he's magnificent. Stephen Graham - one of my favourite actors of all time. What he did in This Is England absolutely destroyed me.

"What he did and what Tomo [Thomas Turgoose] did in that film of Shane Meadows', took me to my knees. He's someone I'm going to fight to get. I'm going to force him to be in almost every film I do. Even at gunpoint!"

Depp added that if he had the choice of watching any movie before he died, it would "without question" be 1986 British comedy Withnail & I.
