Bruno has said that he is a fan of X Factor judges Simon Cowell and Dannii Minogue, as well as Dannii's popstar sister Kylie.
The character played by Sacha Baron Cohen in his upcoming movie shared his views on today's pop culture icons with Attitude magazine.
Bruno said: "Simon Cowell is my gay icon. Ein totally straight man who dresses like he does and loves scheisse pop musik.
"And Kylie and Dannii? I love them. Kylie's like ein Barbie doll zat's been shrunk a little bit and Dannii is like a Kylie doll zat's been left on the radiator for too long (sic)."
Bruno recently revealed that he has a crush on US president Barack Obama and Australian prime minister Kevin Rudd.
Bruno opens in UK cinemas on July 10.
